Bruce Gilbert Stewart, 95, of Blue Bell and Philadelphia, died on September 1, 2025 at Blue Bell Place. He was born in Manhattan, NY on January 7, 1930. He was raised in Westmont, NJ and later enlisted in the US Army and served our country during the Korean Conflict for over 3 years. He served with HQ Btry 41st FA Bn inn Fort Benning, GA and achieved rank of Sergeant. He was awarded the Korean Service Medal with 6 Bronze Stars and the United Nations Service Medal. After his service, Bruce worked at Sears and Roebuck as an Administrative Assistant for many years. He lived in the Center City section of Philadelphia and enjoyed walking around town and enjoyed all that city life offers. Bruce was a friendly and social person who enjoyed carpentry, classical music, and played the clarinet. He was an avid reader, history buff, and enjoyed discussing politics.

Bruce will be interred privately along with his fellow veterans at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, PA.
