On March 9, 2023, Bryan Ray Bernhardt completed his walk of life and entered the gates of Heaven, to be met by his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Then was greeted with open arms by his mother, who he dearly missed since her departure in 2011. Bryan was born on August 29, 1967, in Oklahoma City, OK. He attended school at Deer Creek from kindergarten until he graduated in 1985. Even though he was super smart, college wasn't a good fit for him. He loved his job as a histology technician downtown. It was at a histology conference that he met Erika, and that relationship gave him the greatest gift of all- a beautiful baby girl, his daughter Abbey, which he was very proud of and loved deeply. He treasured time with his family and was very proud of all his nieces and nephew. He loved his friends that stuck by his side even when he made that difficult at times. He respected and looked up to our father and listened to the truthful words of his brother Charles and sister Stephanie. I find peace in knowing that he touched your life and that you also touched his heart at some point in his life. I find happiness in knowing that he will live on in all of our memories. He may not have lived a perfect life, but he lived a full and good one. One that we will forever cherish and we will always remember. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Bernhardt and his maternal and paternal grandparents. He is survived by his daughter Abbey, his father Jerald Bernhardt and wife Ellen, his brother Charles Bernhardt, sister Stephanie Byers and husband Brian, nephew Daxton, nieces Aubrey, Georgia, Sophia, Lillie and Mollie, and so many friends and family to numerous to name. He was loved and will be missed greatly.
A come-and-go life celebration reception will be held on Monday, March 27, 2023, from 6:00PM-8:00PM, at Crawford Family Funeral Service in Edmond, for a time to be together as family and friends, to share stories and memories in remembrance of Bryan.
