We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Bryan S. Jeffers, who died peacefully on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at the Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown, NY, at the age of 45, surrounded by his loving family.
Per his wishes, his services will be held privately by his family, there will be a Celebration of Life Service to be announced, and he will be laid to rest alongside his father in the Maple Hill Cemetery in Rutland.
Bryan was born on July 12, 1980, and raised in Carthage, NY, to the late Lloyd C. Jeffers and Tina (Kneeland) Patchen. A graduate of Carthage High School in 2000, he spent his early years working as a farmhand for many local farms and also worked for Deer River Lumber, Jain Irrigation. Most recently, he was employed by Little Tree Car Freshener until his illness prevented him from working.
He truly cherished spending time with his family, particularly his children and granddaughter. Bryan loved hunting, fishing, archery and being outdoors. He enjoyed grilling and family gatherings such as cookouts and working in his garage. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone; Bryan was truly loved and will be missed by everyone.
Bryan is survived by his wife, Rose Patrick, whom he’s been together with since 2003, and the couple married on July 16, 2025. He is also survived by his children, Cassandra, Savannah, and Lloyd, all of Watertown, NY, as well as his granddaughter, Ariana. He is also survived by his siblings, Scott L. Jeffers, Carmen, and Tina Baker, his uncle Malcolm, and his wife Darlene Kneeland, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents, his sister, Jane Scougal, and his stepbrother, Douglas Ward, and an uncle, Calvin Kneeland.
