Bryan C. Perry, 62, passed from this life at Willow Crossing Health and Rehab on Saturday, November 15, 2025. Bryan was born on December 5, 1962, to Leo Calvin and Lois M. Meadows Perry in Columbus, Indiana.
From an early age, Bryan's curious mind was evident in his love for hobbies such as coin, stamp, and two-dollar bill collecting - interests that spoke to his appreciation for history and the little details that make each story unique. Additionally, Bryan's youthful spirit was often reflected by the time he spent outdoors, rod in hand, fishing the tranquil waters near his home.
As he journeyed through life, Bryan's tastes evolved, but his capacity for enthusiasm remained undiminished. He developed a deep passion for the classic sounds of 70s rock n' roll, reveling in the music that defined a generation. In his later years, Bryan channeled his musical love into learning the guitar.
Bryan is survived by his three sisters, Joyce (Robert) Taylor of Franklin, Karen (Mark) Crider and Anita (Darrell) Woodard, both of Columbus; and his many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, whom he now joins in peace.
The funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, November 20, 2025, at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street, with Reverend F. Doran Chambers officiating. Family and friends may gather for visitation from 1:30 p.m. until service time Saturday.
Bryan will be laid to rest at Springer Cemetery in Elizabethtown, Indiana.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Kidney Fund or Mental Health America of Indiana.
