Bryan Ward, 35, of
Methuen, MA, passed away following a motorcycle crash on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. Born in Lawrence, MA, Bryan was the beloved son of Cara M. (Peters) Cormier and Wade Ward, as well as Mark Cormier, Cara's husband, and Mary Jackson of NH.
Bryan was a proud graduate of Acton-Boxborough Regional High School, Class of 2009. A few years after graduation, he made the decision to serve his country and enlisted in the United States Army, where he honorably served in Afghanistan as a member of the MSH 5-1 CAV family. During his tour he was severely injured, received his purple heart, and was returned to civilian life where he held several jobs as a defense contractor.
Bryan was known for his outgoing personality, infectious laugh, and ability to make anyone smile. He had a heart for helping others and a gift for bringing joy to those around him. Whether through a goofy joke or a warm gesture, Bryan made lasting impressions everywhere he went. If you were lucky enough to catch him at the right time and asked him who he was, his response would be… "I am Batman!"
He cherished travelling and exploring. He loved spending time with his family and friends at Myrtle Beach, SC, and Kissimmee, FL, and was an avid collector of Japanese anime trading cards and a "Magic the Gathering" board game crusader, which reflected his vibrant and playful spirit.
Bryan was predeceased by his grandfather Charles Peters.
In addition to his parents, he is survived siblings, Corey Ward and Dakota Ward; grandparents, Sharon Peters and Patricia Ward; aunts and uncles, Emily Tharp and her husband Paul, Shelley Peters, and Deanna Rodriguez and her husband Louie, Adam Ward and his wife Erin; cousins, Samara, Tori, Samantha, Kiera, and Lucas; his godmother, Roseann Baxter; godfather Brian Peters; his best friend, Craig Reid; and his 5-1 CAV family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street,
Methuen, MA. A service will follow at 6:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.
