Bryant Krauth Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Stith Funeral Home - Lathrop on Dec. 29, 2025.
Bryant "Chubbs" Krauth, age 34, of Savannah, Missouri, and formerly of Lathrop, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025, due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

Bryant was born on April 10, 1991, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Scott and Alice (Sellers) Krauth. He was a 2010 graduate of Lathrop High School, where he was a state qualifier in wrestling and developed the grit, strength, and determination that carried him through life. Following high school, Bryant earned a master welder certification and was proudly employed as a welder at Omnium Manufacturing in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Above all else, Bryant was an extraordinary father. His children were his greatest pride and joy, and he devoted himself fully to being present in their lives. He was not only an amazing dad to his own children, but a father figure to many through his time coaching youth baseball. Bryant had a natural ability to connect with kids, making each one feel valued, supported, and capable. He coached with patience, humor, and heart, and his impact extended far beyond the baseball field.

Baseball was deeply woven into Bryant's life. It was the sport his dad taught him to love, and it became a lifelong passion that he eagerly passed down to the kids he coached. Coaching Quintin's baseball team brought him immense joy, and he cherished every moment spent teaching the game, celebrating victories, and encouraging kids through challenges.

Bryant shared a special bond with his son, Quintin. He took immense pride in supporting and loving Quintin in everything he did. Bryant cherished coaching Quintin in sports, spending countless hours playing catch, and passing down his own love for athletics. Wrestling held a special place in Bryant's heart too, and he was proud to teach Quintin to love the sport, just as it had shaped him. With a smile and a laugh, Bryant also made sure Quintin inherited his trademark orneriness-something he wore proudly and passed down with affection.

Bryant was also the ultimate girl dad to his daughter, Paisley. He proudly spent long hours shopping with his daughter, patiently tagging along through stores, and never complaining about trips to get her nails done. He loved every minute of it. He was her biggest fan-cheering loudly as she explored new activities like cheerleading, volleyball, softball, and basketball-and he never missed a chance to support her dreams. Anyone who knew Bryant knew how proud he was of his daughter and how much he cherished being her dad.

Bryant's girlfriend, Ashley, was such a special part of Bryant's life. In a short amount of time, they built something beautiful. Ashley brought so much light into Bryant's life, and you could see how happy and at peace he was with her. Their relationship was a reminder that time doesn't measure love-connection does. We are so thankful for the love they shared and for the care, joy, and comfort Ashley gave him during this season of his life.

Bryant had a deep love for the land and for caring for animals. A true cowboy at heart, he recently found happiness and peace living on a farm in rural Savannah. Farm life suited him perfectly-whether he was tending to animals, fixing fences, or simply enjoying the quiet of the countryside. The farm wasn't just a place to live; it was where Bryant felt most at home.

Bryant was known for his generous spirit and willingness to help others without hesitation. He would give the shirt off his back to someone in need, never asking for recognition or thanks. Whether helping a neighbor, fixing something for a friend, or stepping up whenever someone needed support, Bryant was always there. His kindness, work ethic, and selflessness left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Bryant also enjoyed the simple pleasures of life-spending time with his dog, Gus, sharing meals at Buffalo Wild Wings, and being surrounded by family and friends. His love for his children, his passion for coaching, his dedication to helping others, and his connection to the farm will forever be remembered.

Bryant will be deeply missed by his family, friends, the many children he coached, and all those whose lives he touched.
