Bryar Adam DeJaynes of Milton, age 19, a young fisherman that was called by Jesus to come follow him was received on Sunday May 12, 2024, on the Illinois River doing one of the things he loved most, fishing.
Bryar was the son of Kevin and Sarah DeJaynes of Milton. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandparents, Randy and Brenda Booth of Pearl, Ruthann DeJaynes of Milton, and Nadine Booth of Pearl; three older half siblings, Crystal DeJaynes, andBlaine and Amber Cilvin-Moore; and six younger siblings, Kevlynn, Michelle, Leaf, Reed, Sabbath, and Samantha DeJaynes. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Wayne DeJayne of Milton; aunt, Aimee Booth; and uncle, Brian DeJaynes.
Bryar loved the outdoors greatly. He has loved fishing and hunting since he was a young child. He also had a love for wrestling, baseball, and soccer. He was an amazing big brother and often took younger brothers along on his outdoor adventures. His best friends were outdoors men who could teach him things he enjoyed, from hunting and fishing to welding and construction.
Bryar was always eager and willing to learn when it came to the things he liked. Bryar had two fur best friends, Poppy and Killer who were always alongside him on his outdoor adventures. So it comes as no surprise that when God called Bryar home, Poppy followed after him. Bryar will always be missed and loved by many.
Visitation will be Monday, May 20, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Green Pond Church in Pearl.
Burial will follow at Green Pond Cemetery.
