Obituary of Bryce McKean Henderson
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Bryce McKean Henderson, who left us on December 12, 2023, at the age of 29. Born on February 28, 1994, in Arlington, Texas, to Marcia and Robert Henderson, Bryce welcomed his baby sister, Stephanie, in 1995.
Bryce was a kind and gentle soul who loved making friends and being active in sports, music, and Scouting. The family moved to Phoenix AZ in 2000, where Bryce attended Ss Simon and Jude Catholic School and graduated from Bourgade Catholic High School in 2012. He attended Pima Community College in Tucson and later relocated to Columbia, South Carolina to pursue a career in property management and real estate. Bryce embraced a healthy and vegan lifestyle, belonging to a steadfast tribe of friends known as the Vegan Superheroes.
Bryce made friends wherever he roamed. He was charismatic and had a gift for connecting with people. He gave his gift of friendship quickly and easily, with a warm smile and sweet chuckle.
He is survived by his mother, Marcia Henderson, his father, Robert Henderson, sister, Stephanie Henderson, grandmother, Cecilia Smith, aunts, Jodi Powers and Mary Walker, uncle, Mark Walker, and many cousins, relatives, and friends across the country. He is predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Helen Colbert, and by his maternal grandfather, Stuart Smith.
We shall miss his beautiful soul and terrific sense of humor. May he rest in Eternal Peace and may he know that he was, is, and always will BE LOVED!!!
