Bubbie Hoxit Obituary
Bubbie Hoxit, 53, of the Little Canada Community, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at his home. He was born on November 19, 1972 to the late Leeward and Juanita Hoxit.
Bubbie enjoyed the outdoors and being Paw to his three grandchildren; Alithyia (Two Fingers), Ethan (Couge), and Hannah (Beercap).
Bubbie is survived is survived by his wife of thirty years, Gayla (Shorty); daughter, Tia (Tater); brothers, Leonard Hoxit (Speedy) (Lisa); and Tim Hoxit, both of Little Canada; and a sister, Janice (Chuy) Garcia of Sylva. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 23, 2025 at Charley's Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Travis Owen and Rev. Jason Bryson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in Hoxit Cemetery.
