Byron Degeyter Obituary
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Tuesday.
Byron was a collector of guns and fast cars. He loved riding his motorcycle, RV'ing, listening to music while relaxing, and going on thrill-seeking roller coaster rides at theme parks. As a pastime, he enjoyed playing poker, trivia and video games - especially fantasy auto racing, and watching improv comedy. Byron cherished the time spent with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his father, Byron James Degeyter, I; mother, Jennie Ann Stelly Degeyter; sister, Brandy Broussard (Kendall); paternal grandmother, Alice Degeyter; maternal grandmother, Theresa Joyce Stelly; nephew, Orvil Degeyter; and his godchild, Kalan J. Broussard.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Rodney P. Degeyter; maternal grandfather, Jacque Stelly; paternal cousin, Jammie Degeyter; maternal cousin, Devan Leger; and his maternal uncle, Richard Stelly.

I was saddened to hear that Byron, a good friend and awesome coworker passed away. I will never forget how excited he was when I sold him the fifth wheel that he lived in, right next-door to us, in White Earth North Dakota. He was one of the best guys I know. One time I got stuck in a snowbank and it was around 10 o´clock at night. He came and pulled me out, it took him almost an hour and a half to get to where I was at. I don´t think we got home till 2 o´clock in the morning. Love you Byron, gonna miss you!!!

I haven´t seen My lil cousin lil Byron in a while. He´s the same age as my lil brother and I remember them playing together when they were little. Rest In Peace sweet cousin. Praying for the family

I met Byron in Montana and worked with him in North Dakota. His passing is so very sad. He will be sorely missed. I will be praying for his family and friends. Rest in Peace Byron.
