Caj Gentry Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Alternative Choice Funeral & Cremation - Farmington on Jan. 14, 2026.
Jeremy "Caj" Douglas Gentry

Jeremy was born in New Iberia Louisiana, January 11th, 1980. Jeremy went to school in Durango Colorado until his freshman year of high school where he started calling himself Caj. He then moved with his parents and siblings to Las Vegas Nevada, where he then attended basic high school and graduated.

Jeremy had different jobs throughout the years, but his favorites were delivery driving to travel and his most recent job working at Brendas House of Hope, where he felt he had a purpose and could make a difference. His hobbies were watching and playing football with his kids, playing video games and he loved to fish with his family and friends and even by himself.

Jeremy passed away surrounded by love, leaving behind a space in the hearts of all who knew him that can never be filled. He was a beloved son, brother, father, uncle and friend. Jeremey had a spirit that was impossible to forget. He carried humor, warmth and authenticity wherever he went, often bringing smiles to others even when they were having a hard day. He had a way of making people feel seen, heard, loved, and accepted simply by being himself. To his family, Jeremy was a constant source of love and strength, as a father, brother, uncle and friend, he held a special place, creating memories filled with laughter, playfulness and unconditional love and care. Those moments will be cherished forever and carried forward as part of his legacy

Jeremy was preceded in death by his (father) Timothy Douglas Gentry, (grandparents) Raymond Stolwothy, Marcell Haynes, Darrel Gentry and Trina Gentry.

He is survived by his (son) Andre Gentry (daughter) Aurora Gentry, (parents)Laura Stolworthy Bishop, (stepfather) Todd Bishop, (brother) Jason Gentry, (sisters) Brandi Gentry Cowan, Kathy Gentry Lancombe.
