Caleb Ely Leek

Caleb Ely Leek, 41, of Curryville, MO, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2024. He was born on February 19, 1983, in Amarillo, Texas, the child of Stephanie (Lindsey) and Kent Leek. As a child Caleb loved heavy equipment and enjoyed working with his step-dad, Mike Grussing. Mike was a huge part of Caleb's life and taught him so many things. Caleb attended the local schools and later graduated from Troy Buchanan High School. He became a heavy equipment operator right after graduation and joined the Union operators local 513. He loved Ford trucks, Lincoln Town Car's and Ford Crown Vic.'s. Caleb loved to go fishing with his son, Emmett, and spending time with his granddaughter, Kouvr. He enjoyed surfing Facebook Market Place in his spare time. Caleb only used Milwaukee Tool, and enjoyed working on anything Ford. He never knew a stranger and would help anyone who was in need. His heart was bigger then the state of Texas, he was born in. Caleb's beautiful smile would light up the whole room. He was a very hard worker and gave his job 100%. Caleb was a loyal friend to many and will be remembered fondly.
He is survived by his wife, Samantha Leek of Curryville, his mother, Stephanie Lindsey of Troy, his sons: Emmett Leek and Hunter Linnenbringer, 4 bonus children: Dakota, Paige, Ellie and Isaiah, 4 granddaughters: Kouvr, Mykah, Ira, and Octavia, his brother, Levi Lindsey of Troy, 3 fur babies: Yoko, Angel, and Charlie, as well as many other relatives and friends.
Caleb was preceded in death by his father, Kent Leek and his step-father, Mike Grussing, and his grandparents: Philip and Cynthia Lindsey, and Monty and Darlene Leek.
Visitation to be held on Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m., at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1304 Boone Street, Troy, MO, 63379, 636-528-8244.
