Calvin H. Piper

Calvin H. Piper, 78, of Lewistown, was welcomed into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior on Friday, October 17, 2025. Born on February 13, 1947, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Clair E. and Flo J. (Cherry) Piper. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle Burkholder; a son, Daniel Piper; a sister, Daryle (Piper) Adams; and brothers, Timothy and Edward Piper. Calvin is survived by his devoted wife, Carol (Webster) Piper; his children, Candi Piper, of Lewistown, Jonathan Piper and wife Lisa of North Chesterfield, VA, Chris Piper and wife Erica of Richmond, VA, Jacob Piper and wife Beth of Stephens City, VA, and Jessica Piper of Lewistown. He is also lovingly remembered by his seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Calvin had a passion for the outdoors and found joy in hunting and cooking for those he loved. Above all, he cherished his faith in Jesus Christ and deeply loved his family, who brought him great pride and happiness throughout his life. A celebration of life will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Fairview Bible Church, 5290 State Route 103 N, Lewistown, hosted by Pastor David Fultz.
