Calvin Rasberry, a cherished member of the Fort Worth, Texas community, passed away at the age of 72 on January 1, 2024. He was born on March 12, 1951 in Decatur, Texas to Gus and Vera Rasberry.
Known for his dedication as a longstanding car dealer and skilled mechanic, Calvin found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He found delight in watching Wrestling, passionately cheered for The Dallas Cowboys, and relished evenings spent with the Wheel of Fortune.
Calvin leaves behind a legacy of love and family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Louise; his daughter, Patricia O'Barto; his sons, Richard Rasberry, Billy Wright, and Frank Wright; along with eleven adoring grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He is also remembered fondly by his brothers, Michaell and Bobby Rasberry; cousins, Dwight Smith and Gayle Bland; and a host of nieces and nephews. May his warmth, love, and passion for life continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Home from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024, at Azle & Lake Worth Funeral Home beginning at 2:00 PM with interment to follow at Boyd Cemetery.
