Calvin Charles Skinner was born on March 11, 1933, to his late parents Virginia Skinner and Calvin Hutchinson in Eastern Shore, Maryland. He received his education in the Eastern Shore Public School System. He came to Baltimore City, Maryland in 1952, where he worked for Baltimore City Public Works for six years. For the next thirty years, he began working for General Motors. He would then retire in 1993. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He loved keeping the neighborhood clean from top to bottom. He loved going to all the family reunions on both sides of the family. He also loved going on walks and to the Washington, DC Zoo. He enjoyed dancing and jamming to the Oldies, but Goodies. His loved ones who preceded him in death include two siblings, Anne Mae Gibson, and Richard Skinner; children, Delvin and Nicole Skinner.; one stepchild, Vanessa Dorsey; grandchild, Antwan Askins; two great grandchildren, Shanniah Boone, and Michael Jackson, Jr., and one step grandchild, Donnell Shanks. He leaves to cherish his loving memories, his wife, Alberta Skinner "Hun"; one brother, Edward Hutchinson; one daughter, Deena Skinner; two stepchildren Cynthia and Bobby Gaines; six grandchildren, Tyesha, Tedrick, James Bailey, Roland, Dujuan, and Kieara Dorsey; three step grandchildren, Terrell, Shaniqua, and Bobby, Jr. Gaines. And a bonus granddaughter, Sharita Kosh; twenty-five great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
