Carl Kendrick "Buzzy" Bragg, age 83, passed away peacefully at his home on July 28, 2025. He was born on February 27, 1942, in Statesboro, Georgia, to the late Carl Bragg and Lois Kendrick Bragg. Buzzy was a lifelong resident of Bulloch County and a 1960 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School. He went on to earn a degree in mechanical engineering from Georgia Tech. In 1972, Buzzy married the love of his life, Walter Lou Scott, and together they built a life full of love and family. He proudly served his country with the Air National Guard, retiring in 1989. Alongside his military career, he found great joy in working the land, farming Vidalia onions with Lou, and running a successful plant business for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Shirley B. Gardner.

Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Lou; his daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Daniel Taylor of Brooklet; and his two granddaughters, Lana Taylor and Brooklyn Taylor, who were his whole world; a sister, Sandra Bragg and a brother, Peter Michael (Margot) Bragg.

Visitation will be held at Joiner Anderson Funeral Home on Sunday, August 3, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel with Reverend Reland Morgan officiating.
