Carl Eugene Graham, 66, passed away at his home in Roseville, MI on the morning of March 28th, 2025.
Carl was born in Macomb County to parents Donald Graham Sr and Elizabeth "Lee" Graham on June 21st, 1958. He was a curious kid who couldn't help but tinker with things and explore the world around him. More than once he could be found disassembling items around the house (clocks, toys, lights) just because "I wanted to know how it works". This was a curiosity and wanderlust that would follow him throughout his life.
Carl attended L'anse Creuse High School until the year of 1976 when he would enlist in the United States Army. He proudly served thirteen years in the Army during which he would travel to places such as Norway, Germany, South Korea, and many more while serving his country dutifully. During his service he would always make time for trips back home to see his family that he loved and missed while stationed far away. At one time even bringing the family to him when he brought his parents all the way out to Germany to visit while he was serving there.
After his time in the military his adventures still weren't done. He came home and worked with his father as a machinist at "Burns Automotive" for years. During this time Carl also achieved an Associates Degree from Macomb County Community College. But throughout this time (and any other time) his number one priority was family. Nieces, nephews, brothers, sisters, and family were always the light in his life. Whether it was birthdays, holidays, or just summer get-togethers, Carl was always there ready to bring smiles, laughs, and an air of happiness with him. His biggest and most rewarding adventure though might have been that of fatherhood. On July 27th, 2000 his son was born to him and his wife Kristine Linck. His son was named Donald Edward Graham in honor of his father whom he loved and respected deeply. Carl was a loving and caring father, always there to support his son in any way he could and reminding him just how much he was loved.
He is preceded in death by his parents Donald Sr and Elizabeth "Lee" as well as his brothers-in-law Tom and Pete. He is survived by his son Donald. His sisters Susan (Vince), Sandralee (Tom), Sally (Chuck), Sharlene and Sylvia. As well as brothers Don and Jack and many beloved nieces, and nephews.
Whether it was tinkering away in the garage or telling jokes and laughing with those around him, everything he did was supported by his love for life and those that were in his. He will be greatly missed and greatly unforgettable by those that loved and cared for him. God bless the father, uncle, brother, and son that was Carl Eugene Graham.
Visitation will be held at Bagnasco and Calcaterra in Sterling Heights, MI from 2:00pm-8:00pm on April 3rd, 2025 and the funeral services will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI at 2:30pm on April 4th, 2025.
