James Carl Schultz, age 81, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Elissa, with whom he shared 30 cherished years. Proud stepfather of Susan Gleeson, Bill (Jacqueline) Gleeson, the late Grace Gleeson, and Joni (Frank) VanDerHaegen. Loving grandfather of Michael (Alison), Jennifer, Natalie, and Sydney-his pride and joy. Everything Jim did centered around his grandchildren, and he delighted in every moment spent with them.

Jim was the dear brother of Bobby and Sally, and was preceded in death by his siblings Harold, Sharon, Judy, Jeanne, and Margie.

A proud veteran, Jim honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He later dedicated over 30 years as a Master Service Technician for GE Appliance, earning a reputation for reliability, integrity, and expertise.

Jim was a man of quiet strength and steady devotion. Whether tinkering with repairs, spending time with his family, or occasionally scratching off a lottery ticket, he lived with simplicity and heart.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 Fifteen Mile Road, Sterling Heights. Jim will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery.

He will be remembered for his service, his loyalty, and the love he gave so generously to his family.
