Carl "Pebbles" Hutcherson, Jr., age 54, of Worthington, passed away at 10:06 am on Friday, June 10, 2022, at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He was born in Linton, IN on April 30, 1968, the son of Carl "Pick" Hutcherson, Sr. & Gloria (Hurley) Sharp.
He worked as a coal miner until 2014. Before he became sick he enjoyed bowling in leagues and fishing. He loved spending time with his family and his favorite meal was breakfast.
JR is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Susan Hutcherson of Worthington; daughter, Halie Hutcherson of Worthington; sister, Connie (William) Pipkins of Switz City; brothers, Shawn (Lisa) Hutcherson of Spencer and Terry Hill of Jasonville; nieces, Aimee Sims, Krista Sims, Emily Hutcherson, Stephanie Studer and Mikala Pierce; nephew, Brandon Brummett; brother-in-law, Donald Calvert; step-mother, Vera Hutcherson as well as his special family friends, Ann Chappell and David Wiggins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Brad Brummett, Lyndon Sharp and Jamie Hutcherson.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington on Tuesday, June 14, 2022. Burial will follow at Switz City Cemetery in Switz City.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 am until the time of service.
