Carl C. Kosnik, age 76, passed away on August 22, 2025, at Nightingale Nursing & Rehab Center after a short illness.
He was born on July 19, 1949, in Corry, Pennsylvania, the eldest son to Zygmunt and Arlene (Lee) Kosnik.
After graduation from Fort LeBouef High School, Carl served in the United States Marine Corps. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially with his dogs. Carl had a great love for animals. He also enjoyed collecting coins and was proud of his collection. He was a member to numerous organizations such as the NRA, the Bay City Gun Club, the American Legion - Wesleyville and the Erie Crawford Trap League.
In addition to his mother, Arlene Kosnik, Carl is preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years who passed away in November of 2024, Linda (Skarzenski) Kosnik and brother, Royce Kosnik.
He leaves behind to cherish him in memory, children, Jerry Kosnik and Tina Kosnik; grandson, Richard Tregaskis and his father, Zygmunt Kosnik. Carl is further survived by his sister-in-law, Marlene Kosnik and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Burial will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc., Wintergreen, 2532 Norcross Road, Erie Pennsylvania 16510.
