Carl E. Sapp, beloved son, brother, father, grandfather and friend, age 60 of Columbus, left this earth too soon. He was born on December 7, 1963 in Columbus to Phyllis Woods and Clifford Sapp. Born to a family of 9 children he was quickly taught the importance of sharing and raising a little hell as needed. Especially when it came to his siblings. If you ask them maybe even a bit more than needed at times. Despite that he was the type of person to give you the shirt off his back.
Carl always had a smile on his face and a freshly combed head of hair. Known to be the life of the party. He cared for many and loved so deeply; he didn't know a stranger.
He was a man of many talents and qualities because of this he was able to live many lives. Some may know him as Houston from his days on the CB Radio. Or as many will gleefully tell you he was most certainly the "Real Deal". However if you asked him what he was proudest of there would be no doubt that he would tell you his family. Known to carry a picture of every grandchild and his own child in his wallet he always kept them close to his heart.
Left to cherish Carl's memory is his child, Amanda Blackburn (Jorge Valenciano), His grandchildren, Parker Giamarco (Linsey Giamarco), Ciara Giamarco, Mia Valenciano, & Soffia Valenciano, his siblings Gary, Dan, Pat, Toni (special Brother in Law Rob) and Linda, & his greatest friend Michael Sanders; as well as numerous extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Brothers: Robert, Roger and Clifford Jr, his Grandson Matthew Giamarco, his loving parents, and the two greatest loves of his life.
