Carl Slack Obituary
Carl was born on August 10th, 1934 to Lamont L. and Erma B. Slack. He was a life long resident of Upper Makefield Township. He graduated from Council Rock high school in 1951, where he played several sports and was the president of their Future Farmers of America Chapter. He was also a member of Thompson Memorial Church, the church that his ancestors helped found in 1811.
Carl is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Janice Slack, daughters Terry and Brenda, and son Carl and his wife Veronica. He was also blessed with a granddaughter Carley, her husband Chris and his great granddaughter Amelia Janice, and step-granddaughter Bernadette Bowler. In addition, he had a niece and several nephews.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of Swartz-Givnish Funeral Home. Services for Carl will be held at Thompson Memorial Presbyterian Church, 1680 Aquetong Rd, New Hope Pa, 18938, on Friday January 16th, 2026. Visitation will be held at church from 10:00am to 11:00am, with a Funeral Service to follow at 11:00am.
In lieu of flowers, Carl's family ask that donations be made in his memory to the Building and Renovation Campaign at Thompson Memorial, 1680 Aquetong Rd, New Hope PA 18938.
