Carl was a graduate of Rutgers University with a bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.He was proudly employed by ExxonMobil for just short of 33 years where he held the position of Global Product Stewardship Advisor.Carl was a past vice president of the board of The Rowing Club of The Woodlands where he watch his youngest son Matthew compete for 5 years. Carl loved his family most of all but his second passion was travel. His greatest joy was sailing the waters off the British Virgin Islands with his siblings and wife. Carl also had a great love of formula one racing that he shared with his son Zachary. They traveled to several races and you would find them together Sunday mornings at crazy hours watching the races.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years Kimberly Wainwright (nee Maylie): his daughter Kristen Wainwright: his two sons Zachary Wainwright and Matthew Wainwright: his siblings brother Charles Wainwright, sister Cindy Caterson and Robert Jaques, sister Claudia and Dennis Teal, sister Connie and Steve Borgianini, brother Curtis and Sharon Wainwright. Also, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Cora (Betty) Wainwright and Charles Wainwright.
Relatives and Friends may greet the family on Saturday, May 6, 2023 from 10-11 AM, at the Hedding United Methodist Church, 2289 Old York Road, Hedding, NJ. Funeral services will follow at 11AM at the church.
Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions maybe made in Carls memory to the United States Naval Academy A& SP Scholarship Support Fund, a program that his youngest son Matthew benefited, to support that Naval Academy Foundation Program for future Midshipmen at www.usna.com please use Naval Academy fund in drop down menu.
