It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, mother, grandmother, and friend, Carla, who left this world peacefully at home after a courageous battle with illness. She was a source of strength, warmth, and unwavering love to all who knew her.
Carla was a devoted mother, and grandmother, nothing brought her more joy than her children, Blake Smith, Kelsie Sallee and grandchildren Baliegh, Aspen and Hudsyn. She was their biggest supporter, always encouraging them with gentle guidance and unconditional love. Her kindness, sense of humor, and quiet strength will live on in them and in all who were touched by her presence.
Carla had a unique ability to make people feel seen and heard. Whether it was through a simple conversation, a shared laugh, or a warm embrace, she had a way of making others feel comforted and valued. She carried herself with grace through both the joys and the hardships of life.
Though her time with us was far too short, Carla's legacy is one of love, resilience, and generosity. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were lucky enough to know her.
May she rest in peace and be remembered always.
