She was born on August 31, 1957 in St John, KS, the daughter of Larry Dean Allison and Billie Jo (Hindman) Broughman.
Carla was a member of the Medicine Lodge First Assembly of God Church and the owner of Jesus House Ministries. She loved helping people and never turned anyone away, and if they needed a place to stay she always tried to help provide a shelter and she fed those that were hungry. Carla was generous and always felt she wasn't giving enough, and man she loved the Lord, and shared her faith through words and actions. There is not enough space to put down all of her wonderful qualities. She was also a mom to so many kids that just needed someone to be there for them. There are too many to mention but always know they held a special place in her heart.
Surviving are her husband, Gregg Stackhouse of Medicine Lodge, KS; one daughter, Allison Mason of Medicine Lodge, KS; two sons, Allen (Alexandra) Stackhouse and Andrew Stackhouse, of Medicine Lodge, KS; Sixteen grandchildren, Christopher, Matthew, Hunter, Harmony, Rhonen, Rheyse, Rhusten, Rhodrique, Thomas, Laurynn, Aspyn, Wyatt, Porter, Curtis, K'Lynn, and Rylee Dale; Three great-grandchildren, Walker, Ella, and Erica; one sister, Tracy Allison of Medicine Lodge, KS; two brothers, Dennis (Charlotte) Allison and Russell (Melissa) Broughman of Wichita, KS; her beloved dog, Athena.
Carla was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Michael Wayne "Eric Eugene" Allison.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Medicine Lodge First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Deitra Black and Pastor Rodney Worsham officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Medicine Lodge, KS.
Memorials may be made to the Freedom Gate Boys Ranch, in care of Larrison Funeral Home, 120 E. Lincoln, Medicine Lodge, KS 67104
