Carlene M Blagrave

Carlene M. Blagrave, 63, of Bloomsburg, went home to the Lord on Monday March 25, 2024, at her residence. She was born October 14, 1960, in Lewistown Valley, PA, a daughter of Dan and Arlene V. (Heisler) Reed.
She graduated from Millville High School class of 1978 and continued her education at Robert Packer School of Nursing where she received her Registered Nursing Degree in 1981. She was a dedicated Orthopedic NICU and NSCU nurse at Geisinger since 1981. She was very proud of her work and loved all the families and parents she cared for during her career. Carlene loved camping, canning, baking, gardening, cooking, embroidery, painting, drawing, writing poems, and all her pets. She loved spending time with her mother, husband, and grandchildren. She was a faithful member of the Mill-Green United Methodist Church for over 50 years.
Carlene is survived by her husband Anthony Blagrave, with whom she celebrated 40 years of marriage with, son James A. and his wife Ashlee of Orangeville, her mother, Arlene Reed, her brothers, Brent and Daniel Reed, and six grandchildren; Phebe, Alicia, Rachel, Olivia, James, and Abigail Blagrave of Orangeville.
Carlene was preceded in death by her father, Daniel J. Reed, her son, Richard D. Blagrave, brother, Brad H. Reed, and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Services will be Monday April 1, 2024, at 11:00 am at the Bunnell Funeral Home Inc., 179 E. Main St., Millville with Pastor Robert Strozyk officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at Katy's Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 am until the time of service.
