STOW - Carmel A. Codispoti, 89, died July 6, 2024.
Born in Akron, she was a graduate of North High School, a longtime Stow resident, and member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
Preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Stella Pappano, and her son, Paul Codispoti. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Nic; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Codispoti; grandchildren, Ronald and Madison Codispoti; sister, Mary Jane Pappano; brother, Joseph F. (Madeline) Pappano, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224, for visitation on Thursday, July 11, 2024, from 4 to 7 PM. Mass of the Christian Burial, Friday, July 12, 2024, at 10 AM, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3179 Kent Road, Stow 44224. Burial Stow Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church or to The ALS Association, 1300 Wilson Blvd., Suite #600, Arlington, VA 22209.

I remember Carmel very well from having Paul in my class many years ago. She and Nic were very helpful in the classroom and were very involved in Paul's education. Unfortunately Paul passed away recently. My thoughts and prayers to you Nick..
