Carmen Reveron

Carmen Maria Muñiz was born in Hatillo Puerto Rico. Her father was Nicasio Muñiz. Her mother was Juana Cabrera.
She came to New York City during the 1950's as part of the great wave of Puerto Rican immigrants. She worked in the garment industry.
She married Victor Reveron on November 17, 1962. They had three children: Melvin, Nilza and Eneida.
She was a housewife/homemaker who was a devoted mother who stressed the value of an education to her children.
Her hobbies included sewing, needlepointing, crocheting, trying out new recipes, reading, crossword puzzles and other word games. She loved music and loved to laugh.
Later in life, she was a childcare provider and foster care mother.
She is survived by her husband Victor, children Melvin, Nilza and Eneida, and granddaughter Sabrina.
