Carmina "Carmie" Pascarella Reino, 69, of Neshannock Township passed away the morning of June 27, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Carmie was born in Bai Latina, Italy on October 24, 1955 to Pasquale and Maria (Laurenza) Pascarella. In 1969 she came to the United States, first living in Chicago and then, in 1970, moved to New Castle.
Carmie married the love of her life, Salvatore Reino on September 24, 1977. He survives at home.
She had worked for Preston Motors as an office secretary until her retirement. Carmie was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Church where she was part of the Ladies Guild. She was also a member of Ladies of the Dukes. Carmie was known for her cooking and baking. She loved to travel, especially going to the beach with family, cruising, and visiting Italy. She enjoyed playing at the casino and getting a winning scratch-off ticket. Above all, family was the most important part of Carmie's life, especially time spent with her grandchildren.
Carmie will be deeply missed by her family including her husband and children; Matteo Reino (Natasha), Pasquale Reino (Mona), Marianna Reino-Carrizales (Andrew), Josephine Reino-Snyder (Brandon); brother, Michael Pascarella (Monica); sisters, Margherita Romano (Tony) and Anna Pascarella; twelve grandchildren, Natalina, Ishaaq, Salvatore, Vivian, Giovanni, Alessandra, Sergio, Mila-Rose, Julianna, Lorenzo, Andrew, and Sammy.
In addition to her parents, Carmie was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Maria Reino.
Family will receive visitors on Monday from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home, 3000 Wilmington Rd. A procession will leave the Funeral Home Tuesday at 9:45 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Church officiated by Father Aaron Kriss. Entombment will be at Parkside Mausoleum.
