Carol L. Anderson, 76, died peacefully on October 1, 2025, with her loving husband holding her hand, at Sunshine Meadows Retirement Community, Buhler. She was born December 19, 1948, in Kansas City, MO, to Bernard C. "Barney" and Betty Lu (Valot) Bryan.

Carol graduated in 1966 from Shawnee Mission High School, and attended Kansas State University. She retired as a legal secretary for Ken Peirce. Carol loved animals, especially horses, dogs, and cats and was a member of the Kansas Appaloosa Horse Club. She enjoyed traveling to visit family and trips to Branson, MO, with Marty. Carol was gifted with her own unique personal style when it came to clothes, accessories, and decorating her home. She loved her "bling"! Above all, Carol was a beautiful tender-hearted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who cherished all her family and friends.

On August 4, 2002, she married the love of her life, Marty Anderson, in Las Vegas, NV.

Carol is survived by: her husband of over 23 years, Marty Anderson of Hutchinson; children, Jeffrey A. Smith (Carla) of Wichita, Katie Kelley of Columbiana, AL, Jeffrey W. Anderson (Tami), and Doug Anderson (Renea), both of Hutchinson; brothers, Barry Bryan (Caitlyn) of Washington and Ted Bryan of Overland Park; 10 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Zacharia Anderson.

Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 10, 2025, at Elliott Mortuary, with Pastor Steve Hodgson officiating. Private inurnment will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Friends may sign her book from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to The Parkinson's Foundation or Crohn's & Colitis Foundation, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.

Our hearts are heavy as we miss our beautiful Carol. For the first time in decades our wife, mother, grandmother and sister has a new, healthy body. Carol's faith ensures she is well, with no physical struggles as she has arrived Home. For this, we give thanks.
