Carol Ann Grant

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Carol Ann Grant on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Celebration Villa in Exeter Township, PA at the age of 85. Carol was a resident of Pennsylvania, living with her daughter since 2016. She was born May 11, 1940, in Boston, MA and the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Sline. Carol was sister to the late Marie, John, and Margaret. She graduated from Roxbury Memorial High School for Girls in 1958.
Carol "Blondie" was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gerald Grant. She was the loving and cherished mother of Michael Grant and his late wife Mary of Plainfield, IN, Bruce Grant and his companion Kimberly Crispina of Enfield, CT, and Cheryle Bailey and her late husband Bill of Exeter Township, PA. Carol is the loving sister-in-law of the late Charles Grant and his surviving wife Dorea of St George, Bermuda, and the late Angela Grant, the late Glenn and Peggy Grant of Norwood, MA, and her surviving sister-in-law Elizabeth Denehy and her husband Michael of Leominster, MA. Other family members include the late Wilfred Hill and surviving wife Bernice of MA, and the late Frederick Hill and surviving wife Florence of MA. She is the adored grandmother of Derek, Jordan, William, Drew, and Arleana. She has two beautiful great grandchildren. Carol is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as many great nieces and nephews. All whom she loved dearly.
Carol leaves behind her dear friends who are considered family, Rita and Ralph Broadbent of FL, John and the late Patricia Goglia of MA, Joanie and Jerry Maly of CT, and Pat and Tony Rossi of CT, as well as many other family and friends no longer with us.
Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held Friday, November 21, 2025, 1:00pm at Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home, 443 East St. N. (Rt. 159), Suffield, CT. A burial will follow at Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Agawam, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation (Komen.org).
