Carol Holbert Obituary
Carol (Batesole) Holbert, 68, of Fremont, OH passed away at her home on April 3, 2025. Carol was born on September 10, 1956 to Jack and Norma Batesole in Fremont, OH.
Carol worked a variety of jobs, first as a nurse’s aid at local nursing homes in Fremont. She then went on to work many years at Atlas Industries in Gibsonburg, OH. Carol finished her working career at Wilbert Plastics before retiring in 2020. After retiring Carol enjoyed cooking, baking, watching WWE Wrestling and NASCAR, she was also an avid Clevland Browns fan. Carol loved going out to different places to eat and socialize.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Beth Lemon, Fresno, CA; grandsons, Ryan Lemon, Fort Campbell, KY, Jack Lemon, Fresno, CA; siblings, Patty Schank, Fremont, OH, Kathy (Jim Dennis) Batesole, Helena , OH; and her longtime companion of twenty-two years, Blaine “Rocky” Guhn, Fremont, OH.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Phill Schank, of Fremont, OH.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 from 11 to 12 noon at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory 425 E. State St. Fremont, OH 43420.
Services will follow visitation at noon at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde, OH
