Carol A. Machado

Carol Ann Machado, 76, of Biddeford, died peacefully on September 25, 2025, surrounded by her family at home. She was born in Lowell, Massachusetts, on August 27, 1949, to Wallace Arthur "Soupy" Campbell and Irene Elizabeth Young.
She graduated from Thornton Academy in 1968. On January 11, 1975, she married Manuel Robert Machado, and together they shared 50 years of marriage.
After high school, she worked in retail with WT Grant, later with Corning CoStar, and ended her working career at Almost Home Daycare. Working with children was a passion of hers. She enjoyed traveling with her family and friends, hosting family gatherings, and spending time with her loved ones.
She is survived by her husband, Manuel; her children, Sherrill Sidlik and partner John Colton, Mark Machado and wife Tracy, Bruce Machado and wife Nancy, and Nichole Boynton and husband Darren "Derwood"; nine grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Wallace "Buzzel" Campbell and wife Delores, Donald Campbell and wife Aleta, Judy White, Merle Hanson and husband Richard, Beth Gobeil and husband Pete, and "Baby Brother" Mike Campbell and wife Jackie.
She was predeceased by her parents; her sons, Michael Machado and Brent Machado; and her granddaughter, Alex Sidlik.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm Street, Biddeford. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, Elm Street, Biddeford. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Biddeford.
