Carol Mioduszewski, age 81, of Rio Communities, NM, passed away on April 6, 2023. Carol was born June 28, 1941 in Pittsburgh, PA to Regis and Dorothy Fey. She was the oldest of 5 children. Carol attended Wheeling College as an undergraduate and earned her MS In Mathematics at Penn State, where she met her husband of 56 years, Dan. She worked as a bookkeeper and IT manager at Gesu Catholic Church and School in Detroit, MI, where she was an active member of the Gesu parish. Carol and Dan retired to New Mexico 13 years ago to be closer to their grandchildren. Carol enjoyed adventure traveling, the outdoors, cooking, crafting, reading, and spending time with her family. Carol truly embodied the Christian values of love and charity, accepting everyone and inviting the needy into her home. She is survived by her brother Joe and sister-in-law Lynn, sister Patricia and brother-in-law Terry, sister-in-law Paula, two daughters, Christine and Amy, son Luke, son-in-law Ralph, five grandchildren, Jessica, Tristan, Ben, Adrian and Zoe, and great grandchild Malina. She is preceded in death by her husband Dan and brothers Bill and Bob. We will miss you tremendously and will see you again someday. You were an amazing and inspiring person. We love you so much. Services for Carol will take place on Friday, April 14th, at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church, beginning at 9:00 am with a visitation. Mass will follow at 10:00 am. Carol will then be laid to rest at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens immediately following the Mass. Arrangements are being handled by the caring professionals at the Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel, 418 W.
