Zofia Mioduszewski of Napanoch, NY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 31, 2023. She was 73 years old. Zofia was born on September 29, 1949 in Rydzewo Szlacheckie, Poland; she was the daughter of Witold and Dominika Gradzki.
Zofia had worked as an Agricultural Engineer for the majority of her career. She married Zygmunt Mioduszewski and moved to Napanoch where she helped him manage the Running Deer Inn. Following her husband’s death, Zofia continued to run the business.
Zofia was a faithful communicant of St. Mary and St. Andrew’s Church. She lived a selfless life and helped countless people throughout it. She loved life, laughter and her pure heart was always open to all. There was always room at her table for those in need. Zofia loved God, family, friends and her dogs.
Zofia is survived by her sisters, Teresa and Jadwiga; her brother, Kazimierz as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visiting will be held on Thursday, February 9th from 5-7 pm at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 N. Main St., Ellenville, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Friday, February 10th St. Mary’s and St. Andrew’s Church, 137 S. Main St., Ellenville, NY. Burial will follow at Fantinekill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Zofia’s name to St. Mary and St. Andrew’s Church.
