Carol N. Mitchell

Carol N. Mitchell, 53, of Tobyhanna, died Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at Lehigh Valley Hospital- Pocono in East Stroudsburg. She was the loving wife John Pope, with whom she shared 11 years of marriage.
Born in Bordentown, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Donald B. and J. Patricia (Magee) Mitchell.
Carol worked in clinical affairs at Sanofi Pasteur for 29 years. She was a member of the VFW Post # 3448 Ladies Auxiliary in Tobyhanna.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter: Tara Pope and her husband, Alex Partridge of Virginia Beach, Virginia; brothers; Charles Mitchell and his wife, Evi of Bristol; David Mitchell and his wife, Diane of Mount Juliet Tennessee; sisters: Barbara Mitchell, Margaret Teichman and her husband, Eric and Elaine Mitchell all of Bordentown New Jersey.
There will be a visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday, August 12 at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. Deacon Leonard will conduct a blessing service at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
