Carol Vitiello Netta

Carol Vitiello Netta passed away peacefully on Friday, March 3, 2023, at the age of 75. She was the loving Mother of Patricia (Mark) DelSantro, Andrew (Jane) Payton and Christopher Netta. She was the proud Grandmother of Zachary, Julianna, Nathaniel DelSantro and Savannah Netta. Carol was also an influential part of Chris's long-time partner, Jessica Willis, and her two daughters, Alexis and Haley. She was sister to Joan Vitiello Nolan and Aunt to Michael (Alison) Nolan, Mark (Jessica) Nolan, Cyndi (Doug) Danko and Tim (Jeanine) Nolan, as well as many other nieces and nephews. She lived the last four years with her loving son, Andrew and his wife Jane. She was a graduate of Padua Academy in Wilmington, and studied at Goldey-Beacom College, as well as the University of Delaware. She worked at MetLife in Christiana until the office closed. She then joined Cigna Global Health Services until her retirement. Her favorite place was Stone Harbor, NJ, where she had been vacationing since she was a child. Strolling through town, walking up and down the beach and people watching were all part of her refuge there. She loved the movies, jewelry, and Longwood Gardens. She was also interested in continuing education classes ranging from wine tasting, to genealogy, to yoga. She will be missed greatly by her family.
A Mass of Christiana Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday March 15th at 11am at Resurrection Catholic Church, 3000 Videre Dr. Wilmington, 19808. Where family and friends are invited to call after 10am. Interment will be held privately.
