Our dear mother a shining light of love, warmth and wisdom Carol Lynn Robertson passed away May 11, 2024 Canterbury Place in Pittsburgh PA.
She was born January 25, 1935, in Franklin, PA, daughter of Roland and Jeannetta Schwab Robertson. She graduated from Rocky Grove high school in 1953.
Carol had deep faith in God and her greatest accomplishment was attending Ramia College late in life. She ministered and prayed with many people.
Carol loved our dogs, gardening, crocheting, and reading the bible. Mom most enjoyed traveling with Jan and Nakita on many work trips and vacations. She also loved our annual family trip to New Smyrna Beach Florida.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Stanley Roland Rodgers and a grandson Stephen Michael Fornof.
Carol's love extended to her 3 daughters, Kimberlee (Richard) Fornof of Oil City, Jeannetta Shoup of Pittsburgh, and Tammy (Jeff Baker) of Lawndale NC. Her 8 grandchildren, Brad (Samantha) Fornof, Christine (Frederick) Lindsey, Jessica (Al) Rodgers, Jonathan (Erica) Wrhen, Lynnsy (Jami) Pauline. Her most loved great grandchildren Noah, Isaiah, Oliver Fornof, Daisy and Toby Callahan, Willow Lindsey, Travis and Nora Pauline,
Her last few months of her life were spent at Heritage Place in Pittsburgh were she made many friends. We were thankful for the excellent care she received, especially Alexis and Katie.
Mother will be profoundly missed but her spirit will continue to guide and inspire all who were blessed to know her.
Friends will be received on Saturday May 18 from 12:30-1:30 P.M. in the Reinsel Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home at 1:45 P.M. with Fr. John Miller, Presiding.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Canterbury Place for their excellent care.
