Augustyn Majder
April 3, 2025
My name is Augustyn (auggie) Majder. I met Carol when she was 17 years . We met either at Camp Dearborn or at a local kids hangout on the corner of Michigan and Greenfield or Ford road and Greenfield. The place was an archery shooting place in front with occasional bands on Friday. The back room had some games like pool and foosball, I think. Anyway, when I met her she was gorgeous. She gave the impression that she did not think that about herself. We met and hung out there and at Camp Dearborn. I was shy but she made you feel at ease. I'll never forget her. Carol was a great person. She knew that I was shy and felt uncomfortable and yet she became a friend. The only reason that I never pursued her was because I met my wife and she was my dream girl. Carol came a close second. I'm sorry that I never took the time to reconnect just to tell her that our short relationship met a lot to me.

I worked with Carol at Beaumont Elementary School. She was the secretary there for a number of years. She was a pleasure to work with. I always said the office was the hub of the school and she did a great job. I have a lot of fond memories of those years. Im so sorry and sad to hear of your loss.

I am pretty sure that I knew Carol when she worked for Traffic Improvement Association at Square Lake and Telegraph Rd. I worked downstairs at Michigan National Bank. Carol was very kind and it was a pleasure to know her. I am so sorry for your loss. Praying for your family.
