Carole Kathryn Anderson, age 82, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2024. Born on December 14, 1941, in Park Rapids, Minnesota, Carole lived a life of deep compassion, dedication, and love.

Carole was a lifelong resident of Park Rapids graduating from there to go on and make a profound impact in her career as a social worker. For 44 years, Carole devoted herself to helping individuals struggling with addiction, embodying both empathy and resilience in her work.

Carole's most cherished achievement was her 59-year marriage to Dale Anderson, whom she married at Saint Raphael in Crystal, Minnesota, on September 25, 1965. Together, they built a life filled with joy, love, and family. Carole took immense pride in her role as a mother to her two children, Steve and Brenda, and a grandmother to her beloved grandchildren, Nick, Brooke, Cody, and Makenna.

In her leisure time, Carole found solace and satisfaction in her hobbies of sewing and crocheting, creating beautiful works of art that will be cherished by her family and friends for years to come. She also had a special fondness for spending time in Green Valley, Arizona, where she enjoyed many happy memories made surrounded by those she loved.

Carole's life was a testament to her unwavering love for her family and friends and her dedication to making a difference in the lives of others. Her warmth, kindness, and generosity will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Dale Anderson; her children, Steve (Kathy) Anderson of Brainerd, and Brenda Anderson of Big Lake; her grandchildren, Nick Davis of Chicago, IL, Brooke (Wes) Adams of Fort Worth, TX, Cody Davis of Maple Grove, and Makenna (Chris) Schmitke of Fort Worth, TX; as well as many precious great grandchildren; sister Joyce (Paul) Hoefs of Green Valley, and brother Don (Judy) Rooney also of Green Valley; and many other relatives and friends who were touched by her kindness and compassion.

She is preceded in death by her mother Ruth Rooney; sister-in-law Heidi; and sisters Audrey, and Sharon.
