Akron- Carole G. Michl, 84, passed away on December 16, 2022, after battling years of poor health. She was born in Galesburg, IL to the late Harrison and Ruby Sittser. Carole graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1956. She later was employed and retired from the Summit County Board of Developmental Disabilities where she served the community driving bus for 34 years. Carole enjoyed the sun, drinking wine and garage sales.
Carole was preceded in death by her husband Girard R. Michl; brother, Timothy J. Sittser and granddaughter, Marlaena Koren.
She will be missed by her sons, Todd (Wendy M.) Michl, Mark (Wendy L.) Michl; grandchildren, Stephanie (Daniel) Brautigam, Justin Michl; great grandchildren, Jace Brautigam, Kelsey Michl; brother, Wendall (Marty) Sittser; sister, Judy Pedulla; grandson in law, Richard Koren and many other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers and other remembrances, donations may be made to, Humane Society of Summit County, 7996 Darrow Rd, Twinsburg, OH 44087.
There will be a celebration of life on January 28, 2023, from 2pm to 7pm at the Akron Turner Club, 547 Munroe Falls Rd, Tallmadge, OH 44278.
