Carole Leuetta (Tims) Runsick, 90, of Newport departed this life on Monday, February 19, 2024. She was born August 27, 1933, to Albert Cleveland and Asellee (Taylor) Tims.
A cherished member of Quail Valley Church of Christ, she found comfort and community in her faith. Gifted with a creative spirit, she expressed herself through sewing, writing, and crocheting, leaving behind treasured pieces of her artistry. Family gatherings brought her immense joy, as she delighted in cooking for her loved ones and fostering cherished connections. Her adventurous soul found fulfillment in travel, exploring new places and experiences. In her journey, she leaves behind fond memories, a legacy of creativity, and a deep love for her family and community, forever remembered and cherished by those whose lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Kenneth Tims and A.C. Tims; and her husband of 59 years, William A. (Dub) Runsick.
She is survived by her sons, John. Runsick (Jenneal) of Cord and William (Bill) A. Runsick (Diane) of Batesville; her daughters, Teresa Green (Roger) of Newport, Suzann Williams (Landon) of Newport, and Bobbie Lynn Runsick of Newport; her grandchildren, Eran Strickland (Kyle) of Richmond, Texas, Alison Tubbs (Jason) of Tuckerman, Adam Childers (Jill) of Newport, Brad Runsick (Amber) of Mountain Home, Jill Coles (Anthony) of Rosie, Seth Runsick of Cave City, and Amanda Dugger of Batesville and seventeen great grandchildren.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Brad Runsick, Seth Runsick, Adam Childers, Anthony Coles, Jason Tubbs, Kyle Strickland, Hugh MacDonald, and Will Tubbs. Honorary pallbearers are Roger Green, Willliam "Bill" Runsick, Bentley Childers, Landon Williams, and John Runsick.
Service will be at 2:00 on Friday, February 23, 2024, at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Ryan Wilson officiating. Interment will be at Gracelawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, February 22nd from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Top of Form
