Caroline Clifton Perron

Caroline Clifton East Perron, age 80 of Pass Christian, Mississippi, passed away on May 27, 2025.

A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Caroline was the daughter of the late John Charles East and Ruth Hackett East.

Caroline was married to Vincent David Perron for 59 years. She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Catherine Perron Heifner (Rob) and Suzanne Marie Perron St Paul; her siblings, Dick East (Peggy), Randy East (Honey), and John East (Jeannie); and her grandchildren, Dylan Heifner, Ethan Heifner, Andrew St. Paul, and David St. Paul.

Caroline attended East Jefferson High School of New Orleans, LA, USL of Lafyette, LA, and Ouachita Vo-Tech School of Monroe, LA. She worked as a costume designer for Twin City Ballet in Monroe, Louisiana, for over 20 years and also worked in architectural drafting. She served on the Board of Directors for Twin City Ballet.

Her many interests included sewing, photography, illustration, fashion design, and hosting large Hackett family reunions on the Gulf Coast. Caroline was a proud member of the Red Hat Society and the Perky Pass Pearls.

She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, cousin, and friend.
