Carolyn Faye Clabough, age 86, of Manchester, TN, passed from this life Friday, August 1, 2025, in Manchester.
Mrs. Clabough was born in Alcoa, TN, to her late parents Dowe Decatur Christopher and Lola Thomas Christopher. She worked as a dental technician. Mrs. Clabough enjoyed volunteering in her community, having served on the board of directors for the Coffee County Fair, was past president of Good Smaritan, and was involved with Meals on Wheels. She also enjoyed being involved with the BINGO home ministry at the nursing home facilities as well. Mrs. Clabough was also involved in many of her families activities with the Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and little league baseball for many years. Mrs. Clabough was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and held previous membership at Forest Mill Methodist Church. On the morning of her passing, she told one of her daughters after being asked what she wanted for her birthday, "The best present I could ever have is you children, you're the best present."
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband of 64 years, Gene Clabough; sister, Virginia Davis; nephew, Mike Davis; grandson, Christopher Phillip Lunsford.
Mrs. Clabough is survived by son, Christopher E. (Janet) Clabough; daughters, Carolyn (Flint) Frame, Caren (Phillip) Lunsford, Cathy (Dale) Socha, and Lisa (Steve) Parks; grandchildren, Stephen Clabough, Nicholas Clabough, Cody Frame, Gina Howard, Brittany Hinkle, Tracy Spears, Jason Lunsford, Jamie Welsh, Terri Norton, Jonathan Jones, Chelsea Jones, Jeremy Jones, Brianna Jones, Christian Parks (Frankie); 30 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Monday, August 4, 2025, from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Central Funeral Home in Manchester, TN. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at 11:00am in the chapel of Central Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Tullahoma.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Friendship Baptist Church or the Manchester Public Library.
