Carolyn Marie Morse Clutter, age 78, entered the courts of heaven with thanksgiving and songs of praise on October 27, 2025. The daughter of Howard L. and Ruthella M. Hall Morse of Ashtabula, Ohio, she was born November 5, 1946. Carolyn graduated from Ashtabula High School, Class of 1964. She married the love of her life, William R. Clutter, on August 26, 1967 and they shared 58 years of faith, family and an unwavering commitment to each other through all of life's joys and sorrows.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, William; her two children, Jeanette (Scott) White and William Clutter, Jr of High Point; three grandchildren, Marissa (Justin), Alexander (Hannah) and Jenna (Nolan); one great-grandchild, Jameson; brother, Howard (Betty) Morse of Ashtabula, OH and her much more than a nephew, Kevin (Christine) Games of Ashtabula, OH. Many nieces, nephews and cousins are left to cherish her memory. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, and sister/brother-in-law Bonita and Charles Games.

A devoted homemaker for many years while her children were school-age, Carolyn returned to the City of High Point as a Collections Clerk until her retirement in 2007. Carolyn will be fondly remembered by Ashtabula First Church of the Nazarene and Greenwood Hills Wesleyan Church members for her love of music and passion for leading the church choir. Worshipping and witnessing through song continued throughout her life and every person providing care to her in the past few years could not leave her presence without her singing "I Love You Lord" and "My Jesus, I Love You" to them. May the seeds she planted through her song, grow and flourish for the glory of her Heavenly Father.
