It is with sadness, yet also celebration, that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Carolyn Kerr, on January 8, 2025. Carolyn was born on April 15, 1942, in Houston, Texas to Herbert and Margaret (Rose) Buss.
Carolyn loved cooking and sewing for others, but most of all, her family.
Carolyn was preceded in death by both of her parents, Herbert Buss and Margaret Buss, of Houston, Texas.
Those left to cherish Carolyn's memory include brother, Donald Buss; brother, Gary Buss; son, Doyle and wife, Becky; son, Kirk and wife, Deana; daughter, Leslie and husband, Bryan; daughter, Misty; grandchildren, Robbie, Laura, Dillan, April, Sarah, and Sam; and many great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Carolyn's life will be held 2 P.M., Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas. Rev. Bobby Wayne Burleson will officiate the service. A private interment will take place in Memorial Oaks Cemetery, Houston, Texas at a later date.
Honorary Pallbearers: Jesse Taylor, Darel Harris, Joe Harris, Kelly Harris, Robin Harris, Dillan Warner, Samuel Bauer, Dalton Keeling, Robert Wright
Final arrangements are under the guidance of Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas.
