She was born on September 19, 1946, to Ray Niedo and Jane Pearl Tahdooahnippah in Lawton, Oklahoma. Carolyn loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed fishing with her grandchildren, playing Yahtzee with her friend, thrift store shopping for that awesome deal, making Native American jewelry, and cooking big meals for her family on special occasions and holidays.
Carolyn is survived by her husband: Donald Nalepinski; her children: Rodney Niedo, Janet (Corey) Wiege, Deborah (Brian) Rettig, Dennis Havlik, Michele (Jason) Karabetsos, and Charles Nalepinski; her brother: Joseph (Ruth Ann) Niedo; sisters: Glenda (Donald) Havlik and Nelda Niedo; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Joseph and Maggie Niedo; parents: Ray Niedo and Jane P. Tahdooahnippah; brothers: Darwin and Willis Niedo; sister: Vivian J. Hale; her special friend: Deena Crist.
A visitation will be held at the Godager Pratt Funeral Home on Friday, December 8, 2023, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM with a time of sharing at 2:00 PM. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements. prattfuneralservice.com
