Carolyn Schultz Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Feldner/Ritchay Funeral Home - Nekoosa on Jul. 25, 2024.
Carolyn Lee Schultz, age 82, of Nekoosa, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at Cranberry Court Assisted Living.
Carolyn was born on November 29, 1941, in Olney, IL to Liberty Lee and Ada (Skinner) Duncan. She graduated from Abilene High in Texas in 1959. Carolyn married Duane Claude Schultz on May 9, 1959.
Carolyn was a stay at home mom until her children were in school. She then worked at Bethlehem Church as a janitor, and then eventually retired from Edgewater Nursing Home where she was a Dietary Aide. After retirement, Carolyn worked for the Nekoosa School District as a sub, and then Jim's BBQ Shack.
Carolyn had a deep love of God and her family. She really enjoyed spending lots of time with them all. She also loved cooking, gardening, and crafts such as tie blankets and painting.
Carolyn will be missed by her husband of 65 years, Duane Schultz; her 4 children, Jaqueline Lee (Bob) Mancl, Connie Schultz, Candie (Gary) Leamons, and Duane Robert (Chantel) Schultz; grandchildren, David Mancl, Tasha (Joe) Woodard, Skyler Leamons, Dane (Alex) Schultz, Briann (Kaleb) Reichert, and Derek Schultz; great-grandchildren, Dalton Mancl, Mckenzie Woodard, Keegan Woodard, Emily Mancl, Knox Reichert, and Logan Mancl; sisters, Belinda (Terry) Roensch and Sandy (Larry) Gotham; brother-in-law, Mike (Carmen) Schultz; and many nieces and nephews.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents; step-dad; mother-and-father-in-law, Harry and Ila Schultz; brother, RC Duncan; and very special great-grandchild, Landon Woodard.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Carolyn's name to New Rome Community Church to be used towards the churches missions.
A memorial service will be held at the New Rome Community Church on August 31, 2024, at 10:00AM followed by lunch.
The family would like to thank Feldner/Ritchay Funeral Home for assisting with arrangements and Interim Healthcare Hospice and Cranberry Court Staff for all their support.
