Carolyn Mae Telesco, a resident of Wappingers Falls for 30 years, formerly of Putnam and Westchester Counties, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY. She was 77.
Daughter of the late Edgar and Marion (Davis) Wilson, she was born in Cobleskill, NY on July 8, 1947. Throughout her youth, Carolyn's family frequently relocated to various parts of New York State as a result of her father's career in agricultural management.
For 30 years, she worked for the law firm DelBello Donnellan Weingarten Wise & Wiederkehr LLP, in White Plains, NY. She retired in 2017 as the firm's beloved head receptionist.
A woman of tremendous faith, Carolyn will be remembered for sharing the Gospel with everyone. With her love and knowledge of God's word she touched many lives.
She will also be remembered for delicious home cooked meals and "Aunt Carolyn's famous Apple Pies".
Carolyn was an unparalleled role model and "mother to all", who invested herself into the lives of her family and extended family alike.
Survivors include her daughter, Denise Shepherd & her husband Edward of Wappingers Falls; her daughter, Tina Riccoboni & her husband Vincent of Wappingers Falls; her son, Joseph Telesco & his wife Maureen of Queensbury; her grandchildren: Chase Shepherd & fiancé Chelsea Peterson, Laura Fernandez & husband Felix, Michael Marshall, Aubrie Riccoboni, Jaden Telesco, and Gabriella Telesco; her great-grandchildren, Ellie Wren and Emma Rae Fernandez; her siblings and their spouses, Stephen & Maureen Wilson and Ann & Bobby Cachine; her brother-in-law, Stan Goldman; also many nieces and nephews along with their families; and countless other loving relatives & friends.
Carolyn was predeceased by her parents as well as her grandson, Brandon J. Marshall; her brother, Wayne Wilson & his wife Alice; and two sisters, Laura Capra and Eileen Goldman.
Calling hours will be held from 9:30am to 1:00pm on Friday, October 4 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY. A graveside service will follow at 1:30pm at Fishkill Rural Cemetery, 801 Route 9, Fishkill, NY.
