Services for Carter Joshua Heard, 3, of Union Grove will be Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater with Brother Rick Martin officiating. Burial will follow at West Mountain Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. Carter passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 in Houston after a courageous battle.
Carter was born June 11, 2014 in Longview to Joshua Bryan Heard and Brittney Dawn Newman Heard. He enjoyed playing outside with his friends and watching cartoons especially Sponge Bob and Mickey Mouse. Carter will be forever remembered as a fighter, stubborn but most of all a loving son, brother, grandson and great grandson. He will always live on in the hearts and memories of all the family and friends he leaves behind.
Carter is survived by his parents Joshua and Brittney Heard; big sister Ashlyn Heard; grandparents Jerry and Amy Allen and Angie and Darrell Newman; great grandmother Eudean Heard; aunts and uncles Courtney and Bryan Hoffman, Ryan Heard and Abigail Allen; cousins Casey Hoffman, Weston Hoffman, Jacob Diaz-Allen, Olivia Diaz Allen and Kaylee Heard as well as many other loving family and friends.
